Just Chillin'

This is a quick layout I did this morning. Its Sophie and our puppy who is getting bigger by the day. It was taken at Oxford Island which is a Wildlife Reserve so we couldn't let Holly off until we got to the top car park. I used the Doodlebug Kit esp for dogs, not the usual type of papers I would use but I enjoyed completing this layout.

Don't Look Mum!

I made this mini book for my mum. It's made out of toilet rolls! I used my big shot to flatten the rolls and then covered them in Basic Grey 'Mellow' and then punched holes with my big bite and put eyelets in them to keep the rolls flat. I tied ribbon on the book rings after putting them on book. I then cut out six tags for inside the rolls and then decorated the front. Mum can then put whatever she wants in it. I really enjoyed making this as it was easy and not too strenuous as I'm still off sick and will be for another few weeks.

Hopefully I will post again soon x

What a Easter!

I'm lying in bed on Sophs laptop, in bed is where I've been since Tuesday night when I came home from casualty! Very long story but beginning to feel a bit better now. I haven't got any scrapping done and didn't even get any where for photos and new scrap pages. Hopefully back to work middle of next week and then the craft fair in Kings Hall on Thursday, I'll just have to take it easy.

Sophs did a test for Pony Club on Tuesday morning and she passed it!! Congrats Sophs. She went horse riding and to pony club last night and the police dogs came and showed all the pony clubbers how they worked, 2 german shepherds (general working dogs) and a black lab (sniffer dog). She really enjoyed it. She couldn't believe what the dogs could do, that says alot for our Holly!

Hopefully I'll be blogging some layouts soon!

The Coast

We always see cormorants on the drive around the coast and lucky to have the zoom lens with us last year and it wasn't to far away. I wanted to keep clean lines on this page as I'm used to doing girly pages and didn't think that would suit a bird!

Aprils Fools Day!

I hope no one has played any pranks this morning!

We took Holly out for a walk this morning as she hadn't been out for a while because of the heavy rain. It was actually quite warm and dry, not too much snow lying about.

I finished off this layout using my new Hannah Montana cartridge. It was the Girls Aloud Concert last year, Sophie's first concert. The photo isn't good as it was from my mobile and quite far away!

I used the new Bo-bunny papers, Sophie collection and the Bo-bunny double dot cardstock.

Snowing Again!

We have had so much snow his year and it is coming down again, so much that Carnmoney Hill disappeared for a while! Holly is really enjoying the snow but I'm not enjoying the mess that she brings in every time she has been out, she runs about mad in the snow, mucked up to her ears!
I got a couple more cartridges for my cricut yesterday, Lyrical Letters and Base Camp and then today the postie came delivered the Hannah Montana cartridge I bought from e-bay. I bought it for the fonts and Sophie likes the flying horse on it too. So I am hopefully going to play this afternoon. Will post my layouts when I complete them.
Bye for now x

Thought I'd Better stop and get some lunch!

Scrapping does wonders for the diet. Scrapping all morning and only realised what time it was! I think it's time to stop and get my lunch before picking Sophs up from school. Well here's the rest of my mornings work.

I had lots of photos to add to this page so I didn't put too much on it just faux stitches and journalling. It's more like a photo album page but I couldn't decide which photos to leave out.

My Mornings Work (so far)

I've been busy this morning, the first layout is of my dd and niece. Sophs just loves looking after her.
Gary bought this Chopper for Sophie years ago and eventually she was able to ride it last year. By the way, Gary's name for Sophs is Chops just in case you were wondering!
I love my cricut for titles, the layout above used All Mixed Up cartridge. I also used my new corner chompers for both layouts, so easy to use.

Blogging Again!

I'm off work today for St Patricks Day so I thought I would upload all my recent layouts and then scrapbook some more!

Sophs and Holly just love each other and this is the way I found them, I think Holly was trying to hide.
Holly looks so small now in this photo. The journalling says:
There is a puddle on the floor
Tis plain for all to see
Now is that puddle H20
Or is it K9P?

This is Glenone waterfall

We went up to see Joey last year as he is now retired and he wouldn't come over to Sophs, as it was muddy!

Here's some of Sophs horse riding before the dark evenings came in.

This one was on Holiday in Galway last year.

Pippa is off lame at the minute so Sophs is riding other horses but she can't wait for Pippa to be better.
Well I'm goning to enjoy my day off and get stuck in to some scrapping. Will hopefully upload them later

Scrapbooking Again!

I had a great day today, I scrapbooked all day, well after taking Sophs to school and walking the dog. I finished 3 layouts of Sophs horse riding. Will take photos later. Gary is plastering at the minute and I'm thinking of maybe scrapping again! I got a new Martha Stewart punch today from Craftz Boutique, I only ordered it on Wednesday, so I've been using that on 2 of my layouts.

Sophs and Holly

Sophs was off school for a couple of days with a bad cold and Holly didn't know what was wrong and after a day of Sophs lying on the settee, Holly decided to get up and keep her company! As you can see Holly is getting bigger and her two ears are up now. Sophie just loved her up on the settee with her (she isn't allowed on the settee). Sophs is back at school today and feeling better, I wonder is that she has horseriding tonight!

Update on Holly

Holly has now been with us for two weeks and it's hard to believe! She's sleeping at night and a rascal during the day. House training isn't going to badly. She's a pure breed GSD and at last she got her last vaccination at the vets last night so by Wed/Thurs we can take her for a walk. Good exercise!! I haven't had time to scrap recently (wonder why!!) so all I have to post is another photo of Holly 2 weeks on (she's now 12 1/2 weeks old) and even the vet said she is a big puppy!

Day 2 with Holly

We had a sleepless night with Holly as she was missing her sisters but she is playing and having great fun in the snow today.

A new addition to the family

This is our family member, Holly. She is ten weeks old and adorable. She looks quite sad in this photo but really isn't. Shes playful, hungry and slipping on our wooden floors! She's sleeping at the minute so the house is quiet. Sophie adores her. We have taken some photos but she doesn't sit still for very long so it's quite hard!

Just thought I would post a few of the layouts I have done in my new craft room. The night it was finished, I sat and completed 4 layouts. (Sorry about the bright bit in the middle of photos, had to use flash)
