Now 4 weeks after surgery

Feeling a good bit better now. Have been getting out and about now, can walk for about half an hour now but get tired quickly. Gary took me to Abbeycentre tonight and I was able to walk from one end to the other and back again, slowly but I did it! Bought some more leggings as thats all I can wear at the minute because of my swelly belly! Got my jeans on at the weekend but had to change back into leggings about half an hour later!

Got my next scrapbook kit from Sarahs Cards last week and it's really lovely, will try and take photos tomorrow and post them. Hopefully I'll be able to scrap with it soon.

I've never watched so much TV, especially the soaps and I also my daily dose of Loose Women. I think I'll get photos out tomorrow and plan some pages from sketchs.

I'm Home

I got home on Saturday, sitting here on a recliner with Soph's laptop! I'm recovering well from my operation and have been told I need at least 3 months off. Still sore and taking painkillers but Gary said that I was walking a bit faster! Gary has taken 2 weeks off to look after me and he's doing a really good job, washing, ironing and cooking, plus helping me into the bath! I don't have any stitches to get out, Doctor stitched inside and then glued me, seems to be healing well. Not allowed to do much other than wee walks around the house, hopefully next week I'll be able to go out for a wee walk.

So I won't be scrapping for a while but will upload something as soon as I do

Kit Arrived

Happy Days, kit arrived, along with 3 Aussie mags I had ordered from Angel Crafts. The kit is lovely and I have in mind which photos I'm going to use. Below is the actual kit.

I'm really pleased with this kit and can't wait to start using it.

Next Kit

The June Kit from Sarahs Cards if due today so I'm waiting impatiently for a van to come. I can't wait for it to arrive as it's papers I wouldn't usually pick myself but they are really nice. I ordered a few wee extras too, just to cheer myself up! Will post it later.

Tuckaway Station is now Tucked Away!

I'm really pleased with it. I sorted out all my cardstock into colours and got it all stored, it's amazing how much it holds. It just wheels underneath my desk so I now have more room to scrap. Gary just has to put up my rails (from Ikea) for my punches.

I got these wodden drawers from Ikea to but a good while ago. I'd also bought red stain for them and I eventually finished them.

It has Arrived!

My tuckaway station came this afternoon but the paper shelves have went missing between England and here, but delivery man said should be here tomorrow. Have to wait for Gary to build it as I'm not allowed too! Mum and Dad took me to Ikea this morning and I got 6 rails for my punches as seen on someones blog (can't remember who's!) Gary will be busy, though it won't be tonight as we have to go to Sophie's new school, can't believe she going to High School in September. Didn't think I was old enough!!

Tuckaway Station

I'm so excited, I have just ordered a tuckaway station for my cricut, it will go underneath my desk and roll out when I want to use it, I have ordered 18 paper shelves for the bottom so I will store my cardstock in them. Just thought I would blog my scraproom again as I have changed it around a bit and I'm now able to reach my glues etc I've also moved the red drawers away from underneath the table as they kept rolling further in when closing the drawers!

This is Tardree Forest, it's Sophie's favourite place to walk Holly. It reminds her of the forest in Twilight and I think she always keeps an eye out for Robert Pattison (Edward)!

Sarahs Cards May Kit

I set out some pages last night and the photos so all I had to do this morning was crop, stick and admire! These are more pages I have made from the kit and that now makes 5 with enough leftover to make another layout! I can't wait to 20th June to get my next kit although I won't have much time as I'll be going into hospital on the 28th.

First Layout in a couple of days!

It's our 15th Wedding Anniversary today, can't believe it was 15 years ago. Makes me feel old!

I thought I would get some scrapping done this week to keep my mind off missing Sophs but didn't feel like scrapping on Tuesday and then yesterday I had a hospital appt and then mum and dad took me out for a while (to Doodle craft) so this is my first layout. It was a simple one and I only used one sheet of paper, fancy Pants (from my Sarahs Cards kit) and a stampin up journalling stamp and white ink pad and gel pen.

Sophs is home this afternoon and I can't wait to hear all the exciting things she did. She'll probably be really tired.
