Scrapping Again

I've been wanting to take a photo of Sophie in the Bluebells at Portglenone forest for a few years now but each time I remembered, it wasn't the right time for them. This year it actually happened! Just wanted to share the layout I completed today. I just love this photo of Sophs.

Reorganised Scraproom!

This is my new table that Gary bought me for my birthday, it's from Ikea and just fits nicely into this space. Its handy not to have to lift my bigshot down everytime I use it!

 This is the side of the table where I do my scrapping, all my cardstock and patterned card are in the magazine files again from Ikea, I cut the side part and then 12 by 12 fit into them. I also have all my brads, buttons etc in the 2 hardware containers on the top left.

 I just love my trimmer from Rotatrim, it cuts through photos and has a really straight edge.

 This is the other sie of the table with computer etc and I also store all my finished albums on this side!

I will blog again soon with some recent layouts I have completed.

Sliding on a tupperware lid

This was the only thing I could find for Sophs to slide down our slope in the garden. She ended up with two bruises as the lid was a bit small! She had great fun and Holly chased her down the garden nearly every time.

Snow Dog!

Holly is soooo much bigger than she was last year in the snow! She's just over a year old now and loves the snow, eveytime I go into the kitchen she is asking out to play in the snow!

Travelling in the Snow is no Fun!

I was working in Cookstown yesterday and I left there at 1.30, its about 40 miles home and I got home at 6.00! At one stage I travelled 1 mile in 1 hour. Luckily I had the heat on in the jeep and music playing and I think I must have sent 100 texts! I took some photos too. I saw 6 snow ploughs! So a big thank you to local farmers who came out to clear the roads.

Over a month

Since I posted. I haven't been doing that much scrapping since going back to work! By the time I get home I'm tired. Although I did take the day off to go to the Kings Hall craft fair. It was smaller than usual and didn't seem quite as busy but it was still a good day out with mum and Sandra, we had a good laugh. I bought a MS punch, flowers, calligraphy pens for Sophs and a pandora bracelet (well not a real one!). Will have to do a layout today in between doing the washing, since Sophs went to High school there seems to be alot more washing, uniform and sports kits. The only problem with that is more ironing!

Well, I'm back at work now just half hours for 2 weeks, quite tired but enjoying being back. I'm going to a crop tonight so will post my LO's tomorrow.

A few More Layout's

Here are another few layouts I've been doing. Back to work next week so I'll not have as much time for scrapping but I'm pleased I'm actually up to May this year now! Not that I scrap chronlogically but I put the layouts in my scrapbooks in the right order.

This is just a pony that Sophie found in a field while we were out walking Holly, don't know who was more scared, Holly or the pony!

Going back to work!

After six months off I'm going back to work on 27th, doctor asked me a few times if I was really sure I was able to go back but I am. Going back for half days for 2 weeks and then back into normal after that. Looking forward to it, getting a bit bored in the house! Have started scrapping again so I will post some layouts soon. Well better go since Sophs started High School she has joined the Youth Club and goes twice a week and she's going tonight and needs a lift.

Back into the school routine

Sophs is back at school full time now, settled in and loving it. She got lost a couple of times on Friday but there was always one of the older ones to help which is nice. Shes getting used to having a timetable and all the different teachers and so far likes all of them, she still has a few to meet. I'm just glad she is enjoying school, long may it last.

I'm on the mend now and hope to get back to work at end of Sept or beg of Oct. Have to see Gp soon and see what she says.

You should have seen the spider we had in the living room this morning, I've never seen one so big, it was the size of a mouse. Gary was already at work and I wasn't touching it. Sophs could hardly eat her breakfast for watching it. Dad came over and by that time it was behind a frame and dad lifted the frame off the wall and it was on the frame and he got me to open the front door and he threw it out, even he said it was a big one! I'm just glad I can go back into my living room again! I really don't like spiders especially mouse sized ones!
